I love this picture of the 3/4 Grade students at the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium. Some of you may have grown up watching Star Trek, like I did. Space exploration and cosmology have always fascinated me and the science of space travel, physics and imagination are a beautiful combination for young minds and old as well. I hope that these young Good Shepherd students will learn the physics of space travel and cultivate the imagination of science fiction writing.
How I wish I could be alive a thousand years from now to see if we will ever have the technology to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly.....
If you don't know the rest of that quotation you are not a true Trekkie!
Your donation to Good Shepherd Catholic School make these experiences a reality for our students. Please consider making a donation today--and not too far in the future.
