I love this photo of Trevor taken at the Spaghetti Dinner. He was one of the student volunteers who helped to serve dinners at this annual and very popular community event held at Good Shepherd Catholic School. His impish smile makes him the perfectly charming waiter! It's important for students to participate in fundraising events at the school. It helps them to learn that community service is not just something "to do", but it connects them with the larger community exemplifying for the community the mission of Good Shepherd Catholic School in action. It also reminds them that their education is not free; we are dependent upon tuition and charity. Our school mission statement is as follows: "Good Shepherd prepares students for a life of learning, service, compassion, personal excellence and faith in God."
Thank you to all of our student volunteers throughout the year who have helped us live up to this mission. Donations to GSCS from out community members help us to teach our students about service to all of our guests and visitors. Please consider making a donation today.
